December: Attitude of Gratitude. Day 10.

For the whole month of December, and counting down to 2017, I shall be joining the (online) community, sharing one post a day of something I’m grateful for. From the teeny weeny tiny, to the life changing enormously great.
#10
Rejection.
We spend so much time obsessing about being accepted by others, when actually being rejected has its place too. Whilst there are several ebbs and flows heightened more so this year, it suddenly dawned on me (during a sad moment) the lows make the highs better, and that the rejections make acceptance better.

It works both ways. One of my new year’s resolutions is prioritising. With an enormous focus on ‘no’. Much like the Jim Carrey film – but the antithesis. Challenging myself to say yes when I mean it, and bucket loads of no too. Living more intentionally and profoundly!
