Journaling is helpful to track how far we’ve come, write intentions and goals, as well as being accountable for our actions.

Also to give our minds a rest, by jotting everything down. Even if you don’t have a diary/journal, if you’re having trouble relaxing/resting/sleeping, and you want to put your mind at ease, grab a piece of paper and write down everything that comes to mind. 

You know the game when somebody says a word, and you say whatever comes to mind? It’s kind of a personal version of that. Be honest, and get it all out, as quickly as possible. It ought to help lots!
