Illustrating mental illness

With societal stigma, embarrassment, or fear, it can be terribly difficult to begin to talk about mental illness, let alone seek help.

Trying to describe and understand depression, or any mental illness for that matter, is really rather difficult – both for the person experiencing it, and for those who have never come across it, to grasp precisely what it is.

During #Inktober the artists below did a stellar job of illustrating mental illnesses; helpful visual aid.

Mind – their sole focus is mental health, and they are always happy to hear from volunteers, or if you’re looking to participate in a fundraising sporting event (5k, 10k, half marathons, marathons etc) with a charity ‘place’.
